The actor Benedict Cumberbatch who gave life to ‘Doctor Strange’, got a tremendous scare a few weeks ago after a man entered the house he shares with his wife with a knife Sophie Hunter and their three children in the City of London.
Although the facts are not new, it was until now that they were made known, the version of the actor and his family being unknown until now.
“Of course, the whole family was absolutely terrified and thought that this man was going to break into their house and do them harm. Luckily he didn’t get that far. Benedict and Sophie have spent many sleepless nights, worried about becoming a target again,” a source familiar with the case said.
According to what was reported by the British press, a cook, who goes by the name of Jack Bisell and who worked at the Hotel Beaumont entered the property of the famous actor and from the garden area began to insult him.
“I know you’ve moved here and I hope it burns,” the cook would have said shortly before taking one of the plants and throwing it against the wall.
Despite the seriousness of the facts and having made threats against the actor, the furious chef was released after paying a fine of £250 and agreeing that he must stay away from the invaded house and that area for three years.
This would not be the first time that the cook has had problems with the law, since he has already been arrested on several occasions and for various crimes. He has been charged with robbery, drug offences, public order and in 2015 he was arrested for being part of the protests against the UK military intervention in Syria.
It should be remembered that the actor from the series ‘Sherlock Holmes’ moved with his family to this residence after disbursing about €4,000,000 euros.
